This update is boring TBH!They Really Just Copied the Auto Shop Deliveries Except You Have to Collect the Cars Now and Can’t Outsource the Work. Ugh

Hey everyone,
Let’s just be real about this latest GTA6 update. I hopped on, checked it out with some friends, and after a couple of hours, all of us had the same reaction: “That’s it?”
Basically, Rockstar added a new vehicle delivery system that feels like a straight-up copy of GTA5’s auto shop deliveries. But here’s the twist: in GTA5, you could outsource some of the work — send staff to handle deliveries while you focused on other missions or just messed around in the city. In GTA6, though? Nope. You gotta collect the cars yourself. Every single time.
The Core Problem
It sounds small, but it really changes the whole vibe. What made GTA5’s auto shop deliveries fun was the balance between effort and reward. You had the option to do the driving yourself if you wanted that risk-reward adrenaline rush. Or, if you were feeling lazy, you could let your staff handle it and keep playing at your own pace.
In GTA6, they removed that choice. Now it feels like a job. You have to go all over the map, grab cars, sometimes deal with NPC security or enemy players, and then deliver them safely. It’s not hard — it’s just kind of tedious after a while.

Feels Like a Step Backward
For a game that’s supposed to be next-gen, GTA6’s version of vehicle deliveries feels like it’s missing that quality-of-life polish. I get it — they want players more engaged, they want us to feel invested. But forcing us into repetitive tasks isn’t really engagement, it’s busy work.
Especially when GTA6 already has so much potential for bigger, crazier things:
Why not mix up the missions? Maybe one time you’re stealing a high-tech prototype from a private garage.
Or maybe throw in random events, like an ambush on the way back.
Even something as simple as optional upgrades, like hiring drivers or customizing delivery routes, would’ve made this feel more dynamic.
Instead, it’s just: drive here, grab the car, drive it back. Repeat.
The City Looks Great… But It’s Not Enough
I’ll give credit where it’s due: the map is stunning. The driving mechanics feel better than ever. But no amount of pretty graphics makes up for gameplay loops that feel copy-pasted from a decade ago.
Rockstar usually pushes boundaries, so this just feels lazy. It’s like they took what worked in GTA5, stretched it out, removed the convenient parts, and called it new content.
Final Thoughts
At the end of the day, some players might enjoy the grind. If you’re into collecting rare cars or if you just love cruising around the city, this update might click for you. But for players like me — who were hoping for more innovation, more excitement — it’s hard not to feel a little bored.
What do you all think? Am I being too harsh? Drop your thoughts in the comments. Maybe there’s a hidden feature I missed, or maybe Rockstar’s saving the real fun for a future update.
Either way, for now: this update feels like a missed opportunity.
